ASN Lookup API
Identify the network behind any IP address. Get Autonomous System Numbers, ISP names, and organization data for network intelligence and security.
What is an ASN?
An Autonomous System Number (ASN) is a unique identifier assigned to networks on the internet. Every ISP, hosting provider, and large organization has one. Knowing the ASN tells you who operates the network an IP belongs to.
ASN Number
The unique numeric identifier (e.g., AS15169 for Google) assigned by regional internet registries.
Organization Name
The company or organization that owns and operates the network (e.g., "Google LLC").
Network Type
Identify if the IP belongs to a residential ISP, hosting provider, VPN, or enterprise network.
Security & Intelligence Use Cases
Bot Detection
Identify traffic from data centers, cloud providers, and known bot networks. Real users typically come from residential ISPs.
VPN/Proxy Detection
Flag traffic from known VPN providers and proxy networks. Essential for fraud prevention and access control.
Threat Intelligence
Correlate attacks and abuse with specific networks. Build blocklists based on problematic ASNs.
Network Analytics
Understand which ISPs and networks your traffic comes from. Optimize CDN routing and peering decisions.
